Crown Agents has a strong track record in Zimbabwe for delivering supply chain management services, training, consultancy and assistance on health and food security programmes that make a difference to the everyday lives of Zimbabweans.
We are providing logistical and procurement support for the Zimbabwean Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) under our 2010 contract with the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) which includes training equipment for the ZIMRA training centre.
As part of the Zimbabwe government's 100-day plan to improve the country's health service, Crown Agents has also project managed a £1.25m DFID-funded initiative to refurbish six hospitals from 2009-2010.
We also partnered with the National Pharmaceutical Company of Zimbabwe in 2007 (NatPharm) to manage the procurement and supply chain of health commodities under projects funded by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB & Malaria in Zimbabwe.
Crown Agents has maintained a representative office in Zimbabwe for close to 30 years since the country's independence in 1980. In 1998 Crown Agents Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd was registered as a private limited subsidiary in accordance with the Zimbabwean Companies Act.
