
Maximizing the effectiveness of established trade corridors across Africa
On October 6 - 8, 2008, the Corporate Council on Africa sponsored its annual Africa Infrastructure Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC. Crown Agents USA was honored to be invited to participate in the conference and make a presentation at the Trade Corridors panel held on Oct. 7th. Crown Agents Associate Director Audrey Adams represented Crown Agents and spoke about the importance of seamless borders in moving cargo through the various trade and development corridors being established throughout the African continent.
Crown Agents is pleased to be recognized for its expertise in the movement and delivery of goods throughout Africa. As a result of her presentation, Ms. Adams was then invited to testify before the United States International Trade Commission on October 28th regarding infrastructure and the movement of goods in sub Saharan Africa. Crown Agents continues to develop and expand its expertise in Africa and in the concept of movement of goods through key trade corridors.
