Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) has been implementing activities in Namibia primarily through our supply chain services sector. Based in Windhoek, we are the managing partner for the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) project office in Namibia. In this President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) funded project, our main objective is to transfer skills to our government partners, while strengthening country systems to deliver essential health commodities.
In 2009, we signed a contract to become the Procurement Agent Services to the Millennium Challenge Account - Namibia (MCA-Namibia). Namibia has signed a five-year Compact with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to improve the quality of education and training for underserved population, develop the tourism industry and increase the productivity and profitability of the livestock industry. CA-USA is supporting the MCA-Namibia with procurement agent services to achieve the goals of the Compact.
