Crown Agents has worked in India for several decades, first operating a liaison office to support our quality assurance and inspection services. Crown Agents operates its in country business through a fully owned subsidiary Crown Agents India (p) Ltd., incorporated under the Indian Companies Act in 2007. We have established our credentials with central and state governments and with donors, providing assistance and advice in procurement, quality assurance, capacity building and public financial management.
Based in New Delhi, we are headed by a country manager reporting to an Asia regional director based in Singapore. Our current team includes supply chain professionals, skilled in procurement, quality assurance and inspection. Crown Agents also draws upon external consulting and quality inspection professionals who work with us on individual assignments. Our main goal is to participate in India's rapid growth by being a leading provider of public financial reform, capacity building, and supply chain services
Commencing mainly as an office to support quality inspection activities our profile in India has been evolving over past few years at a rapid pace. Crown Agent's experience in public financial management and procurement makes us an ideal partner to assist central and state governments. We have been involved in a number of consulting engagements in India funded by DFID, World Bank and UNICEF.
