Crown Agents' role in Malaysia has evolved from providing quality assurance, procurement and public financial management since 1966 to increasingly offering more advisory and capacity building services.
Over 500 Malaysian government officers have attended courses at our International Training Centre in the UK and in Kuala Lumpur, while our in-country training is tailored to meet clients' individual and department goals.
In 2006 we entered into a strategic partnership with the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Agency to deliver a regional training course, Intelligence-based Investigation, at the agency's Training Academy (MACA) in Kuala Lumpur. Other clients have included the Royal Malaysia Police, Ministry of Education and SIRIM Bhd.
Our consultancy assignments in Malaysia include the establishment of a vehicle repair, maintenance and service centre for the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation; implementation of the Institutional Support for the Accelerated Development of Kedah's economy and financial support services for Malaysian students studying in the UK.
We have also procured and inspected significant quantities of condoms for family planning / HIV prevention projects, surgical gloves and pharmaceuticals destined for export markets.
