For more than a century Crown Agents has been working in partnership with the people and successive governments of Ghana. At each stage of its economic development we have been working to help deliver its agendas for growth and prosperity.
Our first permanent representative office, opened in 1983, provided procurement services and technical assistance support to donor projects for social development, improving infrastructure, alleviating poverty, and privatisation and revenue mobilisation.
In 2000 we set up a subsidiary company, Crown Agents Ghana Limited. Led by Sam Brandful, the company's professional staff bring Crown Agents' global resources together with local partners to support the government's strategy of strengthening public financial management. On the one hand we work alongside ministries and agencies to improve expenditure management, by strengthening public procurement processes, building capacity and develop human resources. On the other, we increase revenue by integrating collection through using our TRIPS™ software system.
